Work for all Science, Technology, Gateways, and Education tracks not previously published in another venue, presented, or currently under consideration at another conference may be submitted as a paper or abstract. Papers should be no more than eight pages; abstracts should be no more than one page in length. Work previously published in another venue, presented, or currently under consideration at another conference may be submitted as a one-page abstract only. Please include the names and affiliations of all co-authors, indicating which author will be presenting. The deadline for these submissions is 10 May.

All Other Submissions
Submissions for the Visualization Showcase, Tutorials, Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) sessions, and Science, Technology, and Student Posters should be in the form of a one-page abstract only. Please include the names and affiliations of all co-authors, indicating which author will be presenting. The deadline for tutorial and BOF submissions is 10 May. All submissions will be peer-reviewed, and successful applicants will be expected to address reviewer comments. Both accepted abstracts and papers will appear in the conference as 30-minute presentations. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by 28 May (14 June for Posters and Visualization Showcase entries). Submissions that are not accepted can be re-submitted as posters. Final submissions addressing reviewer comments should be provided by 11 June for publication of abstracts on the conference website and inclusion of papers in the conference proceedings.
