DEISA (Distributed European Infrastructure for Supercomputing Applications) has just released a new video named “DEISA - Towards a European High Performance Computing Infrastructure: Combined Power for Faster Computation.”

This professional video production highlights the motivation and relevance of high-performance computing in general, and in particular paints a portrait of the DEISA infrastructure, its scientific applications and success stories.

A selection of high-impact projects conducted within
the DEISA Extreme Computing Initiative (DECI) illustrates
today’s broad range of high-performance computing applications and documents the scientific relevance of DEISA. The video is 24 minutes in length and is mainly targeted at researchers, policy makers and funding agencies, as well as the general public audience. A DVD can be requested from any of the DEISA partners or the video can be downloaded from the DEISA website here.
