Announcement - Serbia joins the PRACE initiative

PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, has a new member country. Serbia joined the initiative on 16 December 2008, helping to expand the coverage of PRACE in Europe.

The overall number of countries in the initiative has increased to 18 as Serbia signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
Several additional countries have also expressed their interest in the initiative.

The following countries collaborate in PRACE: Germany (project coordinator), Austria, Cyprus, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and UK.
