The 4th International Conference on Life Science Grids 2007 (LSGrid2007) will be held from 6-7 September 2007 at the National e-Science Centre, University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Original manuscripts addressing grid systems for life sciences can now be submitted.

Authors should report relevant experiences, present novel approaches to existing problems and describe and raise issues that must be overcome to facilitate grid-based life science e-research.

Topics of interest include:

  • Experiences applying grid technologies in the life sciences
  • Computational and data grid architectures for the life sciences
  • Security of clinical and life science data sets including experiences in ethics and information governance
  • Usability of grid-based life science systems
  • Interoperability of grid systems to support life science research
  • Grid-based data access and integration of life science data sets
  • Applications and case studies on using the grid in the life science domain
  • Computational workflows to support life science research processes
  • Grid-based drug discovery and pharmacogenomics
  • Experiences accessing and using clinical data sets within and between organisations
  • Grid-based clinical trials and epidemiological studies
  • Grid-based longitudinal studies
  • Development and usage of ontologies for the life sciences
