Announcement - 2nd BalticGrid Summer School: 2-6 July


The BalticGrid Summer School will be held in Riga, the capital of Latvia and the largest city in the Baltic States.

The 2nd BalticGrid Summer School will be held in Riga, Latvia, on 2-6 July 2007 at the Riga Technical University.

This summer school is devoted to application users and developers who want to exploit grid resources. It will cover five days of lectures and practical work.

The first day will include an introductory course on grid computing. The next few days will feature lectures and exercises on various aspects of grid computing and its applications. The last day focuses on grid security issues.

BalticGrid aims to integrate Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia into the grid community and to foster the development of grid infrastructure in these countries.
