Pull out your books and pack your bags. The second E-Infrastructure shared between Europe and Latin America Grid School, to be held in Mérida, Venezuela, is now calling for applications.

ECRIS-2 will be held from 30 July to 10 August 2007, and aims to create the necessary environment in Latin America for porting new applications to the EELA Grid Infrastructure.

Proposals for applications to the school are welcome from researchers, technical industries, research laboratories, and academic universes.

EGRIS-2 builds on the success of EGRIS-1, which was held in Brazil in December 2006.

Proposals for EGRIS-2 must be submitted by 15 June 2007.
